Role overview

Responsibilities

• Analyze Spot Gold (XAUUSD) and forex for potential buy and sell opportunities using technical and fundamental analysis.
• Monitor XAUUSD price action across relevant global trading sessions and track economic releases such as CPI, PPI, NFP, GDP, employment data, and PMI.
• Follow Federal Reserve and FOMC decisions, rate expectations, central-bank commentary, the US Dollar Index, Treasury yields, and other gold-price indicators.
• Track geopolitical, macroeconomic, and market-moving news and assess short- and medium-term effects on XAUUSD, currencies, gold, and broader markets.
• Use price action, chart patterns, technical indicators, and market structure to develop insights and identify support, resistance, breakout, reversal, entry, stop-loss, and target levels.
• Prepare daily or intraday analysis and outlooks; evaluate trade risk/reward and remain aware of volatility, liquidity, trading sessions, and scheduled events.
• Communicate market observations and trading rationale clearly to the internal team.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience analyzing or actively monitoring forex, commodities, or financial markets.
• Strong knowledge of Spot Gold (XAUUSD), forex, technical and fundamental analysis, price action, and market structure.
• Understand relationships among gold, the US dollar, Treasury yields, interest rates, inflation, and monetary policy.
• Experience following major global economic and geopolitical events.
• Familiarity with trading platforms and charting tools such as MT4/MT5 and TradingView.
• Understand leverage, margin, position sizing, stop-losses, and trading risk management.
• Ability to analyze rapidly changing information, communicate concise insights, make sound decisions, and work during significant volatility.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience as a Forex Trader, Gold Trader, Trading Analyst, Market Analyst, Commodity Analyst, or Technical Analyst is preferred.
• Practical experience analyzing or trading XAUUSD and preparing intraday trade setups or market commentary is preferred.
• Knowledge of institutional market concepts, liquidity, order flow, and market sentiment is advantageous.
