Role overview

Market analysis and monitoring

• Analyze Spot Gold (XAUUSD) and forex markets for potential buy and sell opportunities using technical and fundamental analysis.
• Monitor XAUUSD price action across relevant global trading sessions and assess direction, momentum, market structure, and potential setups.
• Track CPI, PPI, NFP, GDP, employment data, PMI reports, Federal Reserve decisions, FOMC meetings, rate expectations, and central-bank commentary.
• Monitor the US Dollar Index, Treasury yields, interest rates, geopolitical developments, and other factors that may affect gold and currency markets.
• Assess market-moving news and its potential short- and medium-term impact on XAUUSD.
• Use price action, chart patterns, indicators, and market structure; identify support, resistance, breakouts, reversals, entries, stop-losses, and targets.
• Prepare daily or intraday market analyses and trading outlooks; evaluate risk/reward, volatility, liquidity, sessions, and scheduled events.
• Communicate market observations and trading rationale clearly to the internal team.

Required qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of experience analyzing or actively monitoring forex, commodities, or financial markets.
• Strong knowledge of Spot Gold (XAUUSD), forex, technical and fundamental analysis, price action, and market structure.
• Understand how gold relates to the US dollar, Treasury yields, interest rates, inflation, and monetary policy.
• Experience following major global economic and geopolitical events.
• Familiarity with trading platforms and charting tools such as MetaTrader 4/5 and TradingView.
• Understand leverage, margin, position sizing, stop-losses, and trading risk management.
• Ability to analyze rapidly changing information, communicate concise insights, make analytical decisions, and work through significant market volatility.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience as a Forex Trader, Gold Trader, Trading Analyst, Market Analyst, Commodity Analyst, or Technical Analyst is preferred.
• Practical experience analyzing or trading XAUUSD and preparing intraday trade setups or market commentary is preferred.
• Knowledge of institutional market concepts, liquidity, order flow, and market sentiment is advantageous.
