About the role

What you'll do

• Manage invoices from intake through approval and payment, ensuring accuracy, documentation, and on-schedule processing.
• Code expenses across GL accounts, departments, cost centers, projects, and reporting categories.
• Prepare payment batches and clear reports for Finance leadership, highlighting obligations, exceptions, and items requiring attention.
• Maintain AP aging and vendor schedules and support visibility into upcoming cash requirements.
• Resolve duplicate invoices, missing approvals, coding errors, vendor discrepancies, and payment issues.
• Partner across the company to improve invoice approval, expense coding, and purchasing processes.
• Support month-end AP reconciliations, accruals, expense analysis, and supporting schedules.
• Report on spending, vendors, payments, outstanding liabilities, and expense trends.
• Identify manual work and help implement improved workflows, integrations, and automation.
• Grow into projects across cash forecasting, budgeting, reporting, financial analysis, and finance systems.

What you'll bring

• 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related analytical role.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Solid accounting fundamentals, including AP, GL coding, and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills and confidence working with financial data.
• Exceptional attention to detail; strong organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Clear communication skills, ownership, curiosity about systems and automation, and comfort with evolving processes.

Compensation

• Anticipated annual base salary range is $65,000–$80,000; compensation considers skills, experience, job scope, location, and market data.
