Finance Accountant — NIVRA Kitchens & Wardrobes

The person who joins us in this role will own the finance function entirely — a high-responsibility position with direct visibility to management.
The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced Finance Accountant to join our team immediately.
As the sole finance professional at NIVRA, you will manage the full spectrum of the company's accounting and financial operations — from day-to-day bookkeeping to payroll, VAT compliance, and financial reporting.
This is not a supporting role.
You will own the finance function end-to-end and report directly to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process monthly payroll and WPS submissions accurately and on time
- Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns in full compliance with UAE FTA requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the company's accounting software
- Generate monthly financial reports, profit & loss statements, and cash flow summaries for management review
- Monitor petty cash, manage expense records, and ensure proper documentation of all transactions
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers on payment schedules, outstanding balances, and reconciliations
- Track and manage end-of-service benefit accruals for all staff in accordance with UAE Labour Law
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure all financial documentation is audit-ready
- Support management with cost analysis, budget tracking, and financial planning as required
- Identify and flag any financial risks, discrepancies, or compliance gaps proactively
Requirements
- The following are non-negotiable:
- **2 to 3 years of accounting experience**, with a minimum of 1 year of UAE-based experience
- **UAE VAT experience** — must have independently prepared and filed VAT returns with the FTA
- **Arabic speaker** — fluent in Arabic (written and spoken) is mandatory
- **Immediately available** — currently not serving a notice period
- **UAE-based on a valid visa** — must be legally permitted to work in the UAE without requiring a new entry visa
- Additionally preferred:
- Experience with Odoo accounting software — hands-on experience is a strong advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus but not mandatory
- Experience in the interiors, construction, manufacturing, or fit-out industry is an advantage
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
- High attention to detail, discretion with confidential financial data, and the ability to work independently
