Finance Transformation Manager (Project Hire)

Role overview

What you will do

• Lead enterprise Finance data strategy and its implementation roadmap.
• Deliver a Finance Data Layer and lakehouse supporting EPM, BI, analytics, AI/ML, and other platforms.
• Translate finance business needs into requirements, user stories, data specifications, and plans.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery with business, product, architecture, engineering, analytics, and support teams.
• Guide ingestion, modeling, transformation, validation, UAT, deployment, and ongoing operational support.
• Manage priorities, data platform quality and performance, security, costs, delivery measures, and transformation outcomes.
• Communicate decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to technical and business audiences.

Required qualifications and skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in enterprise data strategy, platform implementation, data products, finance transformation, or related technology transformation.
• Experience leading cross-functional data initiatives from strategy and requirements through delivery, adoption, and support.
• Knowledge of enterprise platforms, cloud data architecture, lakehouse patterns, and scalable pipelines.
• Working knowledge of finance planning, forecasting, reporting, performance management, and financial data definitions.
• Experience with requirements, data models, source-to-target mappings, ingestion, ETL/ELT, dimensional modeling, data quality, and access controls.
• Strong delivery leadership, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and ability to manage ambiguity and priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a listed related field or equivalent work experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Preferred experience includes Snowflake, Databricks, SAP S/4, BW, HANA or BDC, Oracle EPM, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Governance, master data, metadata, data quality, role-based access, dbt, Python, Airflow, SQL, Java, CI/CD, and cloud performance experience are preferred.
• Entertainment, streaming, media, or similarly complex global-business experience is preferred.
• Project management, Agile, Six Sigma, consulting, PMP, MBA, CPA, or related credentials are a plus.

Compensation

• Hiring range in Burbank, California is $139,200–$170,000 per year.
• Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be offered in addition to benefits; actual pay may vary by region, skills, knowledge, and experience.
