Finance - Trainee

Role summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and track customer invoices; coordinate resolution of billing issues and discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding invoices, follow up on overdue receivables, support collections, and maintain collection trackers.
• Support payment allocation and reconciliation; investigate unapplied cash and payment discrepancies.
• Maintain billing and collection records and supporting documents; prepare basic billing, receivables, collection, and cash reports.
• Work across Finance, Commercial, and Operations; assist with month-end activities and suggest process improvements.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate student in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong attention to detail when working with financial data.
• Good communication and follow-up skills; organized, proactive, and comfortable working across teams.
• Willingness to learn finance systems and develop experience in billing, receivables, and cash management.

Practical exposure

• The role offers hands-on exposure to the order-to-cash cycle, including billing, accounts receivable, cash collection, reconciliation, reporting, and cross-functional finance operations.
