Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Finance Supervisor to oversee the daily accounting operations and supervise a finance team of approximately 10 employees.
The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with UAE regulations, effective team coordination, and continuous improvement of finance processes.
This role requires a proactive professional with strong accounting knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with management and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily activities of the finance and accounting team.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare financial reports and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting activities.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and company policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
- Support ERP and system improvements.
- Train, guide, and evaluate finance team members.
- Work closely with management to provide accurate financial information and support decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 7–10 years of accounting and finance experience.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience leading accounting or finance teams.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Focus, Odoo, or similar).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
