Join the Finance team on a three-month temporary contract supporting national operations.
Administer accounts receivable, customer payments, receipting, banking, and credit control.
Provide general finance administration support, assist with reconciliations and reporting, and cover staff leave when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Process and accurately receipt customer payments, allocating them to the correct accounts.
- Complete daily banking and maintain receipt and payment records.
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up overdue accounts under established procedures.
- Support credit control through customer queries, payment follow-ups, and account maintenance.
- Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding issues.
- Maintain financial records, reports, and supporting documentation; assist with cash flow monitoring and receivables reporting.
- Respond to payment and invoice queries, provide team administration and leave relief, and follow up outstanding matters.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, receipting, credit control, or similar finance administration.
- Strong numerical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail; experience processing payments, allocating receipts, and reconciling accounts.
- Organisation and time management skills, including prioritising competing deadlines.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, including confidence following up payments.
- Proactive problem-solving, competent computer skills including Excel and finance or ERP systems, and ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership.
