About This Role

1. Financial Planning & Budgeting

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for logistics operations (warehousing, transportation, and 3PL services).
  • Consolidate financial inputs from operational departments and analyze variances against plan.
  • Provide monthly cost-to-budget visibility and recommend corrective actions.

2. Cost Control & Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor operational expenditure (OPEX) and cost-per-unit KPIs across all logistics activities.
  • Implement financial dashboards and cost control mechanisms to improve efficiency and accountability.
  • Track and report on key cost drivers such as transport cost per delivery, cost per pallet, and warehouse utilization.

3. KPI & Business Analysis

  • Define and monitor key operational and financial KPIs (e.g., EBITA, Gross Margin, Cost Recovery, Productivity Ratios).
  • Partner with Operations to develop performance scorecards and productivity benchmarks.
  • Translate operational data into actionable financial insights for management.

4. Reporting & Financial Insights

  • Prepare and present monthly management reports highlighting financial performance, budget adherence, and forecasts.
  • Ensure financial data accuracy across ERP and reporting systems.
  • Support leadership in decision-making through scenario modeling and profitability analysis.

5. Process Optimization & Compliance

  • Streamline finance operations processes including invoicing, accruals, reconciliations, and cost allocation by business unit.
  • Maintain compliance with Starlinks financial policies and Saudi regulatory standards (ZATCA, VAT, GOSI).
  • Liaise with auditors and internal control teams during financial audits.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with relevant department teams to optimize end-to-end cost efficiency.
  • Provide financial support for new business initiatives, tenders, and customer pricing models.
  • Develop financial models for new contracts, ensuring operational feasibility and profitability.
