Job Summary

Key Responsibilitiespurchasing & Inventory Control

• Verify stock availability before approving new purchase requests.
• Prevent excess, duplicate, or unnecessary purchasing.
• Compare supplier quotations, market prices, and procurement terms.
• Monitor purchasing procedures, approvals, and documentation.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and physical stock verification.
• Ensure proper inventory control and warehouse management practices.

Invoice & Financial Verification

• Review supplier invoices, quotations, LPOs, and payment documents.
• Verify pricing accuracy, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Identify unusual expenses, pricing discrepancies, and cost variations.
• Ensure proper financial records and documentation are maintained.
• Support management in strengthening financial controls and cost-saving measures.

Operational Audit & Compliance

• Monitor daily operational activities and compliance with company procedures.
• Review workflow efficiency and identify operational gaps.
• Conduct periodic audits across departments, warehouses, operational sites, and vessels.
• Identify operational risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist management in implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Reporting

• Prepare detailed audit reports and findings for management review.
• Submit recommendations for process improvement and cost control initiatives.
• Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• **6–10 years of experience** in Internal Audit, Internal Control, Inventory Control, Operational Audit, or related functions.
• **Mandatory experience in Shipping / Marine / Logistics industry.**
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, and cost controls.
• Good understanding of ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, reporting, auditing, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of UAE business operations, documentation, and compliance procedures.

Additional Requirements

• **Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.**
• Candidate must be willing to travel between company locations, warehouses, suppliers, vessels, and operational sites as required.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.

• Experience handling multi-location operations and inventory audits.
• Ability to identify process gaps and implement effective internal control improvements.
• Strong coordination with operations, procurement, finance, and warehouse teams.
• Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,500.00 per month
