Role Description
The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Umm al-Quwain, United Arab Emirates.
The role involves overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounting activities, monitoring cash flow, preparing financial statements, and coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes.
The Finance Manager will develop and maintain financial policies and controls, ensure compliance with local regulations, and provide accurate financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
Daily responsibilities include reviewing cost structures, supporting pricing strategies, managing audits, and collaborating with other departments to improve financial efficiency and profitability.
The role also requires working closely with senior leadership to align financial plans with business growth objectives and to support international distribution and manufacturing activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Candidates should possess solid accounting and reporting skills, including preparation of financial statements and management of audits.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in financial analysis, cost control, and pricing support for manufacturing and distribution operations.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with UAE financial regulations, tax requirements, and compliance standards.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in using accounting and ERP ODOO software, spreadsheets, and financial modeling tools.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities to work across departments.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial companies, ideally within the Middle East, is highly beneficial.
