We are currently recruiting for a commercially minded and highly organised Finance Manager to lead the finance function across a diverse and growing portfolio of UK and UAE group companies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting multiple legal entities operating across sectors including property, commodities, international trade, and business services.

Reporting directly to the Founder and senior leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, cashflow management, profitability analysis, budgeting, KPI reporting, and supporting the continued growth of the business both in the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed commentary and variance analysis.
- Produce statutory accounts to trial balance for UK and UAE group entities, in readiness for external accountants and auditors.
- Lead cashflow forecasting and treasury management activities.
- Own and maintain monthly company and departmental budgets across multiple entities.
- Monitor and report on income, expenditure, profitability, and cashflow performance.
- Produce monthly P&L reports, management reports, and KPI dashboards.
- Analyse business performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Partner with departmental managers to drive budget accountability and financial discipline.
- Support senior leadership with financial modelling, forecasting, and strategic business planning.
- Develop and maintain management information reporting and key business metrics.
- Ensure robust financial controls, policies, and procedures are implemented and maintained.
- Oversee reconciliations and financial data management using Sage and Xero accounting systems.
- Ensure payroll, VAT, and statutory compliance requirements are met.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and third-party finance partners.
- Manage and support an Accounts Assistant.
Candidate Profile
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar multi-entity accounting environment.
- Strong UK accounting experience is essential, with a solid understanding of UK GAAP, statutory reporting, payroll, and VAT compliance.
- Proven experience preparing and submitting VAT returns and reconciling VAT accounts.
- Strong multi-entity accounting and management reporting background.
- Proficient in Sage Line 50, Xero, and Sage Payroll (or equivalent accounting systems).
- Excellent understanding of UK compliance, VAT regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen and exceptional attention to detail.
- UAE finance experience is advantageous but not essential, as support and training will be provided.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and influence business decisions.

Working Arrangement
This is a full-time, office-based role located in JLT, Dubai.
Due to the collaborative nature of the position and operational requirements, remote or hybrid working is not available.
