Role Description
We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the full financial function across Falak Cart, a custom-built e-commerce platform.
The role covers financial operations, marketplace transactions (wallets, commissions, settlements), and financial planning (budgeting, forecasting, cash flow).
Reporting to the CEO, the Finance Manager will ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and efficient payment management across banks, systems, and payment gateways, while supporting strategic decision-making in a fast-growing digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and month-end/year-end closing processes
- Manage marketplace financial activities on Falak Cart, including customer wallets, commission structures, vendor payouts, and affiliate settlements
- Oversee and execute financial reconciliations across internal systems, payment gateways, and bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
- Supervise online payments and treasury activities, acting as a co-signatory and ensuring proper cash flow management and payment scheduling
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, and develop ongoing financial forecasts aligned with business objectives
- Monitor financial performance through variance analysis (budget vs actual) and provide actionable insights to management
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and local financial requirements, and lead coordination with external auditors during annual audits
- Analyze revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability across both business models (agency and marketplace)
- Improve and optimize financial processes and systems, including integration with the Falak Cart platform and automation of key workflows
- Collaborate closely with leadership to support strategic decision-making, expansion plans, and financial planning initiatives
- Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in finance/accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or relevant certification, such as CPA or CFA, is a plus)
- Proficiency in Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis
- Strong understanding of Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and Compliance
- Experience in Risk Management, Cost Control, and Cash Flow Management
- Skilled in the use of Financial Software and Tools
- Demonstrated Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Abilities
- Strong experience in
- e-commerce, fintech, or digital environments
- Hands-on experience with
- payment gateways & reconciliations
- Familiarity with Saudi regulations (VAT / ZATCA)
- Arabic & English (Arabic is essential)
