Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor and reconcile inventory across all restaurant branches
- Perform monthly inventory valuation and stock reconciliations
- Analyze food cost and beverage cost percentages
- Investigate inventory variances, wastage, spoilage, and shrinkage
- Establish inventory control procedures and branch-level controls
- Work with operations teams to improve inventory turnover and reduce waste
- Reconcile purchases, transfers, consumption, and closing inventory
Multi-Branch Financial Management
- Manage accounting and reporting for 8 restaurant locations
- Consolidate branch financials into group reporting
- Track branch profitability and KPI performance
- Prepare branch-wise P&L statements
- Monitor labor costs, food costs, and operating expenses by location
- Support budgeting and forecasting for each branch
Uae Tax & Compliance
- Prepare and review UAE VAT returns
- Support UAE Corporate Tax compliance
- Maintain audit-ready records and documentation
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Cash flow forecasting
- Budgeting and variance analysis
- Develop financial models for new branches and expansion plans
- Provide recommendations to improve profitability
Key Restaurant Experience Requirements
- Look for candidates who have:
- 5+ years in restaurant, hospitality, F&B, or retail finance
- Experience managing multiple outlets/branches
- Inventory accounting experience
- Food cost and recipe costing knowledge
- POS system experience (e.g., Micros, Foodics, Toast, Oracle Hospitality, etc.)
- UAE VAT experience
- UAE Corporate Tax knowledge
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Odoo, SAP Business One, Oracle NetSuite, etc.
