Job Summary
The finance manager is responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, cost control, compliance, cash flow management, and providing financial insights to support business decisions in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance and analyze variances.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage cash flow, collections, payments, and banking relationships.
- Oversee accounting operations, reconciliations, payables, and receivables.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, zakat, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze product profitability, margins, pricing, promotions, and trade discounts.
- Monitor inventory costs, stock levels, wastage, and expiry-related losses.
- Support sales, marketing, and operations teams with financial analysis.
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Improve internal controls, financial policies, and ERP processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is preferred.
- 18+ years of finance/accounting experience.
- Experience in FMCG, retail, or distribution is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow, and cost control.
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
