Role Description
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the organization's financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and operational finance functions while ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective financial governance.
The successful candidate will provide strategic financial insights, optimize financial performance, and support executive decision-making through accurate analysis and sound financial management.
The Finance Manager will collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, manage risks, and drive sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Manage cash flow, treasury operations, working capital, and liquidity planning.
- Develop financial models, business cases, and investment analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.
- Maintain effective internal controls, financial governance, and risk management practices.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Partner with business units to provide financial guidance and performance insights.
- Lead finance process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage finance systems, reporting tools, and financial data integrity.
- Lead, coach, and develop finance team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and management accounting.
- Knowledge of corporate finance, taxation, treasury management, internal controls, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent are an advantage.
