Role Description

The Finance Manager / Finance Director is responsible for leading the organization's financial planning, reporting, and strategic finance functions to support sustainable growth and long-term business success.

This role provides financial leadership by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance while delivering insights that support executive decision-making.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing financial strategies, preparing annual budgets and long-term forecasts, and monitoring organizational financial performance against strategic objectives.

The role oversees the preparation and review of financial statements, management reports, and performance analyses, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The position leads financial planning and analysis (FP&A) by evaluating revenue, profitability, operating costs, cash flow, capital investments, and business performance.

It develops financial models, conducts scenario and sensitivity analyses, and provides recommendations that support resource allocation, cost optimization, and sustainable business growth.

In addition, the role establishes and strengthens internal controls, financial governance, and risk management frameworks to safeguard organizational assets and ensure operational efficiency.

It oversees audit coordination, regulatory compliance, treasury activities, and continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting quality and operational effectiveness.

The role provides leadership to finance teams by promoting collaboration, professional development, accountability, and continuous improvement.

It works closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate strategic initiatives, support investment decisions, and align financial strategies with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting principles, financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial management.

Ability to evaluate financial performance and provide actionable business recommendations.

Proficiency in financial modeling, spreadsheet applications, ERP systems, financial reporting software, and business intelligence tools.

Familiarity with data visualization and financial analytics platforms is advantageous.

Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess financial risks, identify growth opportunities, and support complex business decisions using quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead finance teams, manage cross-functional projects, and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to executive leadership, business partners, and non-financial stakeholders.

High integrity, sound professional judgment, strong attention to detail, and outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance in a dynamic business environment.
