Finance Manager / Finance Director

Role Description

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy development.
• Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Oversee cash flow management, treasury activities, working capital, and liquidity planning.
• Develop financial models, business cases, and investment analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls, financial governance, and risk management practices.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance, performance insights, and decision support.
• Evaluate financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies to protect organizational assets.
• Drive finance process improvements, system enhancements, automation initiatives, and digital transformation projects.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and management accounting.
• Knowledge of financial analysis, cash flow management, taxation, internal controls, and corporate finance principles.
• Familiarity with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and business intelligence or data visualization tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
