Role Description
This part-time Finance Manager role is based in Dubai in a hybrid setting, combining on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility.
The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing general ledgers, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
The role includes preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
The Finance Manager will analyze financial performance, prepare variance and profitability reports, and provide insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies, coordinating with external auditors and advisors, and recommending process improvements to strengthen financial controls and efficiency.
The Finance Manager will collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support planning, cost management, and sound financial governance.
Qualifications
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Experience with financial analysis, variance analysis, KPI tracking, and preparing management reports and dashboards.
- Solid understanding of compliance, audit processes, internal controls, and applicable financial regulations in the UAE.
- Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems; experience with financial modeling is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, prioritize multiple deadlines, and maintain confidentiality and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are a plus.
- Prior experience in a Finance Manager or senior accounting role, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
