Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Finance Manager role based in Dubai.
The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and quarter-end closes.
The role will support strategic decision-making by providing financial models, performance reports, and KPI analysis related to advertising, sponsorships, and subscription revenue.
The Finance Manager will also help maintain internal controls, coordinate with external accountants or auditors, monitor tax and regulatory compliance in relevant jurisdictions, and advise on financial implications of new crypto and media initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Hands-on experience with accounting, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements under recognized accounting standards.
- Knowledge of crypto, digital assets, or financial media business models (e.g., advertising, sponsorships, subscriptions) is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial tools; familiarity with accounting or ERP software is preferred.
- Ability to interpret financial data and present clear, concise insights to non-finance stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills suitable for a part-time, high-responsibility role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) are an advantage.
- Experience working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, or startup environments is preferred.
- Eligibility and willingness to work on-site in Dubai.
