Role Description
This is a temporary, hybrid Finance Manager role based in Dubai, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.
The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger postings, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
The role will prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant standards and local regulations.
The Finance Manager will monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Responsibilities
also include coordinating with external auditors, improving internal controls and financial processes, supporting tax and regulatory filings, and partnering with cross-functional teams to manage expenditures and optimize financial resources.
Qualifications
- Strong financial management and accounting skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end close.
- Proficiency with financial analysis and modeling tools, including advanced spreadsheet skills and experience with ERP or accounting software.
- Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and local financial regulations in the UAE, with experience supporting audits and compliance processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cash flow, working capital, and cost control initiatives to support business performance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
- Proven experience leading or coordinating small finance teams or functions, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior finance role, ideally within a fast-paced or project-based environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Dubai, maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and a high standard of professional ethics.
