Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Finance Manager role based in Dubai.
The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, banking, and cash flow.
The role will prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts, and support budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis for projects and operations.
The Finance Manager will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, working closely with local leadership and the wider management team.
The position will also contribute to process improvement, support audits, and provide financial insights to guide business decisions and long-term planning.
Qualifications
- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including experience with general ledger, month-end close, and management accounts.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial modeling for operational and project-based environments.
- Knowledge of tax, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to the UAE and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
- Advanced skills in Excel and experience with accounting/ERP software; ability to analyze data and present clear financial insights.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and operational teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA) is highly regarded.
- Prior experience as a Finance Manager or in a senior finance role, ideally within engineering, construction, or industrial services.
