Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Finance Manager role based in Qatar.

The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, cash flow monitoring, and bank reconciliations.

The role will involve preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting cycles, and providing financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.

The Finance Manager will ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and relevant accounting standards, and will coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners as needed.

The position will also include developing and enhancing internal controls, supervising finance staff, optimizing costs, and supporting management with financial reports, variance analyses, and performance dashboards.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards (IFRS or similar).
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis to support data-driven decision-making and cost optimization.
  • Experience in cash flow management, working capital control, and treasury activities, including coordination with banks and financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of tax laws, regulatory compliance, and internal control frameworks, preferably within the GCC region or similar regulatory environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar financial software).
  • Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
