Oversee and manage the organization’s financial operations.
Provide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Lead financial planning and develop financial models aligned with strategic objectives.
- Manage annual budgeting and revise forecasts as business performance changes.
- Prepare timely P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Monitor costs, identify savings, and promote efficient resource use.
- Manage cash flow and maintain adequate liquidity.
- Advise senior management on strategy, expansion opportunities, and financial risks.
- Ensure accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance and work with external auditors.
- Lead and develop finance staff; implement internal controls that safeguard assets and reporting integrity.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
- At least five years of finance or accounting experience, including at least three years in a managerial team-lead role.
- MBA or additional certifications are a plus.
Skills and tools
- Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
- Analytical ability, communication, leadership, attention to detail, organization, and deadline management.
