Role Description
The Finance Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with a blend of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities.
This role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including overseeing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining general ledger entries, and ensuring accurate, timely financial records.
The Finance Manager prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, assists with budgeting and forecasting, and monitors cash flow to support sound business decisions.
The role includes coordinating with external auditors, ensuring compliance with local regulations, internal controls, and company policies, and supporting leadership with financial analysis and insights.
The Finance Manager collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to align financial planning with organizational goals, optimize resource allocation, and support sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting practices, financial reporting, and use of accounting or ERP software.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control best practices, preferably within the UAE.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and present clear, actionable insights.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clinical, operational, and leadership teams.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail in handling confidential financial information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage.
- Experience in healthcare, mental health services, or a mission-driven organization is beneficial.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
