Role Description
The Owner role at Technica is a full-time remote position responsible for overall business leadership and performance.
Day-to-day tasks include setting strategic direction, defining business goals, and overseeing key operations such as finance, marketing, and product or service delivery.
The Owner will make high-level decisions on resource allocation, partnerships, and investments, while monitoring performance metrics and adjusting plans based on results.
This role involves building and guiding distributed teams, establishing processes, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
The Owner will also represent Technica in external meetings, negotiations, and industry discussions, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and driving sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Strong business leadership and strategic planning skills, with experience setting long-term goals and managing organizational growth.
- Proficiency in operations management and financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Experience in remote team management, with skills in communication, delegation, and building effective virtual collaboration practices.
- Background in business development, partnerships, or client relationship management, with the ability to negotiate and maintain key external relationships.
- Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance considerations for operating a business in applicable jurisdictions.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions, interpret metrics, and adapt strategies based on results and market conditions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, high level of accountability, and comfort with owning both strategic and hands-on responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience as a founder, owner, or senior executive is strongly preferred.
