Role Description
The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
This part-time hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility.
Responsibilities include preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and budget vs. actual analyses to support decision-making.
The Finance Manager will develop and monitor budgets, maintain internal controls, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
In addition, this role will support management with financial modeling, cost analysis, and reporting on performance for global projects and clients.
Qualifications
- Strong core finance and accounting skills, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling, including cash flow analysis, variance analysis, and cost and profitability assessments.
- Experience with accounting software and Excel or other spreadsheet tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, internal controls, and best practices for compliance and risk management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present financial information to non-finance colleagues.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage part-time hours efficiently, and coordinate with global teams across time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a technology, software, or marketing services company, especially in a multinational or multi-entity context, is a plus.
