Role Description
The Finance Manager role at Guatevision - Canal 25 is a part-time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with a combination of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities.
The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate general ledger postings.
This role will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide analysis to guide decision-making and cost control.
The Finance Manager will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and local regulatory requirements, and coordinate with external auditors and banking partners as needed.
The role will also collaborate closely with leadership and departmental teams to align financial planning with business goals and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong financial management and accounting skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, with the ability to analyze data, create financial models, and generate clear summaries.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements applicable in Abu Dhabi or the region.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a part-time, hybrid environment.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Experience in media, broadcasting, or a related industry is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work with integrity, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive workplace.
