Role Description
This is a part-time Finance Manager role based in Abu Dhabi with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site work with some flexibility to work from home.
The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable tracking for the property portfolio.
The role will involve preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, and providing management with insights on revenue, expenses, and profitability for different projects.
The person in this role will manage financial controls, support compliance with local regulations and tax requirements, and coordinate with external auditors, banks, and service providers as needed.
The Finance Manager will also assist leadership with financial analysis for new property investments, lease agreements, and project feasibility evaluations.
Qualifications
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience with financial analysis for investments, project feasibility, and profitability assessment.
- Comfort with using accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or similar tools).
- Knowledge of real estate or property management finance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with local financial regulations, tax concepts, and basic compliance practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and concise communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time, hybrid setup and manage priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus.
