Role overview
Manage and oversee financial and accounting operations for real estate and travel tourism companies, ensuring accurate reporting, financial controls, and compliance with UAE regulations.
Accounting and reporting
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, cash flow reports, and management reports.
- Maintain separate and accurate accounting records for both companies.
Tax, payroll, and business transactions
- Manage UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filings and regulatory submissions.
- Prepare and verify payroll, WPS, commissions, incentives, and final settlements.
- Monitor real estate commissions, developer payments, and collections; oversee travel bookings, supplier payments, refunds, and customer collections.
Controls and coordination
- Review and approve financial records, expenses, payment requests, and reimbursements under company policies.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and authorities.
- Maintain documentation and internal controls and ensure compliance with UAE regulations, including AML requirements.
- Perform additional finance-related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience; UAE experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS, and accounting regulations.
- Real estate and/or travel and tourism accounting experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and Google Sheets; strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.
