Job Description

  • We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Intern – Tax to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
  • In this role, you will support our tax department by assisting with accounting, compliance activities, and financial analysis.
  • This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in tax preparation and accounting processes, an opportunity to develop your expertise in accounting and tax regulations, particularly within the Middle East business environment.
  • You will work alongside experienced tax professionals who will mentor you throughout your internship.
  • Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation.
  • Organize, file, and maintain tax-related documents and records in a systematic manner.
  • Analyze financial data and accounting transactions to identify tax implications and opportunities.
  • Perform calculations and account reconciliations related to tax positions and liabilities.
  • Support the tax team in gathering and compiling information for tax audits and regulatory filings.
  • Assist with data entry and database management for tax compliance systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office with the ability to create formulas, pivot tables, and financial models.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with accounting software or tax preparation platforms (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis and data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in **Arabic** & English (required).
