The Finance Director is responsible for leading the overall financial strategy, governance, and operational performance of Ohana Development.

The role provides executive-level financial leadership, ensuring robust financial management, commercial insight, and strict alignment with group strategy.

Reporting to the Group CFO, the Finance Director serves as a trusted strategic advisor to the General Manager, playing a critical role in driving business growth, optimizing capital allocation, navigating project lifecycles, and safeguarding the financial integrity of the organization in compliance with UAE real estate regulations.

· Lead the company’s financial strategy aligned with group objectives

· Provide forward-looking insights to drive growth, profitability, and value creation

· Partner with the Managing Director / GM on business strategy and execution

Financial Performance , Cash Management & Escrow Governance

· Full ownership of the company’s financial performance, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and project-level cash flows

· Lead cash flow planning and liquidity management across development projects

· Ensure compliance with UAE Escrow regulations and manage off-plan sales proceeds

· Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting

· Deliver actionable financial analysis on risks, costs, and opportunities

· Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning

· Oversee financial modeling, feasibility studies, and scenario analysis

· Evaluate project viability, ROI, and funding structures

· Monitor performance vs. budget and drive corrective actions

· Oversee accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and project accounting

· Ensure strong control over construction costs, contractor payments, and variations

· Apply relevant accounting standards (IFRS 15 & IFRS 16)

· Drive ERP effectiveness, automation, and data integrity

· Establish strong internal controls and governance frameworks

· Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and real estate regulations( e.g., ADREC, DLD, institutional mandates).

· Lead risk management across financial and contractual areas

· Manage internal and external audits with timely resolution of findings

· Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on financial and operational decisions

· Provide financial oversight across the full project lifecycle

· Lead finance transformation initiatives (ERP, automation, reporting dashboards)

· Drive a performance culture through financial KPIs and data insights

· Build and lead a high-performing finance team

· Manage relationships with banks, auditors, regulators, and government entities

· Support fundraising, project financing, and partnership evaluations
