Qualifications

• Strong finance and financial planning skills, including budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements and financial reporting.
• Advanced analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data and recommending improvements.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, compliance requirements, and internal control best practices.
• Experience in a finance leadership role, preferably at the director level or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for non-finance stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• An advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA or CFA is an advantage.

Workplace

• This is a part-time remote role with regular virtual collaboration.

• Manage financial planning processes and review and interpret financial statements.
• Oversee financial reporting to support informed decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with leadership on long-term financial strategy.
• Support risk management efforts and provide data-driven insights for organizational growth.
• Collaborate virtually with internal stakeholders and use digital tools to manage finance tasks remotely.
