Finance and Accounts Manager

Looking for Chartered Accountants with 10 to 15 years of middle east experience to join an Oil Field Service Company (UAE and Oman locations)

1.

Strong experience in financial accounting, accounts finalization, financial reporting, and managing finance operations.

2.

Comprehensive knowledge of applicable financial reporting frameworks and accounting standards, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

3.

Expertise in managing corporate accounting functions, year-end book closures, preparation of financial statements, and coordinating with external auditors for statutory audits.

4.

Ability to analyze business processes, establish effective accounting systems, and implement financial and management reporting frameworks.

5.

Experience in reviewing and strengthening internal control systems, identifying process gaps, and recommending best practices to improve operational efficiency.

6.

Strong knowledge of corporate taxation, international taxation concepts, and indirect taxation, including GCC VAT compliance and reporting requirements.

7.

Ability to support strategic financial decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and provide CFO-level financial insights for SME businesses.

8.

Experience in managing finance and accounting projects, including client assignments, process improvements, and advisory engagements both on-site and remotely.

9.

Strong leadership, team management, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills with the ability to work with senior management and business owners.
