Role

Responsibilities and accountabilities

• Review and validate end-to-end financial workflows in Finacle against accounting policies, chart of accounts, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare, document, and execute finance test cases covering General Ledger postings, reconciliation, period-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Verify accounting entries across loans, deposits, payments, and cards, including debit/credit treatment and General Ledger mapping.
• Represent Finance in UAT, review test results, and provide formal sign-off for finance-critical scenarios.
• Review functional designs, system configurations, and product programmes from a Finance and accounting perspective.
• Identify and log functional gaps, accounting discrepancies, and workflow deviations, and follow them through to resolution with technical and implementation teams.
• Validate regulatory reports, management accounts, and statutory statements for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with bank requirements.
• Support migration parallel runs by comparing legacy-system outputs with Finacle and resolving discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and the Core Banking migration team to capture and address finance-function requirements.

Joining timeframe

• The requested joining timeframe is two weeks, with a maximum of one month.

Requirements

• Senior Functional Analyst experience focused on Finacle Core Banking for UAE operations.
• Ability to review banking finance workflows against accounting policies, chart of accounts, and reporting requirements.
• Ability to prepare and execute finance-related functional test cases, including General Ledger postings, reconciliation, period-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Ability to validate accounting entries and debit/credit treatment across loans, deposits, payments, and cards.
• Finance-function participation in UAT, including review of results and formal sign-off on finance-critical scenarios.
• Ability to review functional design documents, system configurations, and product programmes from a finance and accounting perspective.
• Availability to join within two weeks, with a maximum joining timeframe of one month.
