Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Field Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fiber cable pulling, satellite TV installation, IPTV configuration, and CCTV installation.
You will be responsible for conducting technical site surveys, identifying material requirements, performing high-quality installations, and troubleshooting equipment and service issues on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and install fiber optic cables at residential and commercial sites.
- Install, align, and configure satellite dishes and receivers.
- Conduct technical surveys to determine equipment and material needs.
- Install and configure IPTV systems and networking hardware.
- Install and set up CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and remote access.
- Diagnose and fix technical issues related to satellite, IPTV, CCTV, and fiber networks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all installations and service calls.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional communication and service.
Requirements
- Proven field experience with satellite, fiber, IPTV, and CCTV installations.
- Solid understanding of signal alignment, basic networking, and system setup.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, testing, and installation equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in networking, satellite, CCTV, or fiber installation.
- Familiarity with popular IPTV platforms and CCTV systems
