Field Technician

Purpose

Requirements

• Physical requirements include:
• Have the ability to do repetitive heavy lifting, (75-100 lbs.), pulling, dragging, digging, etc. Be able to operate conveyors, crushers, vibrating screens, pumps, air pollution control equipment, off road trucks, and vacuum trucks. Unload waste into the stabilization plant or landfill after receiving approval.
• Be able to operate conveyors, crushers, vibrating screens, pumps, air pollution control equipment, off road trucks, and vacuum trucks.
• Unload waste into the stabilization plant or landfill after receiving approval.
• Visually inspect waste loads during dump for non-conformance to waste acceptance conditions, report condition to the Operation’s Manager for his disposition.
• Visually inspect waste loads after dumping to ensure the waste is completely removed from the truck. Report any material remaining inside the container to the Operation’s Manager for his disposition.
• Sample incoming containerized loads and treated loads according to the Waste Analysis Plan and submit samples to the laboratory for acceptance analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Pay range

• $20.00-$25.00 per hour
