Role overview

Roles and responsibilities

• Oversee on-site life-extension work, repairs, and inspection-related services for installed equipment fleets.
• Supervise construction and commissioning activities for new and existing equipment at customer sites.
• Work may include on-site machining, non-destructive testing, blade work, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics.
• Make engineering decisions and apply prior experience and technical expertise to service work.
• Use an understanding of operational factors and team interfaces to deliver work and solve problems.
• Provide informal guidance to new team members; the position may be an individual contributor or a people leader.

Basic qualifications

• For roles outside the United States, significant experience in the function is required.
• Degree-level knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or a bachelor's degree with experience in a relevant field.

• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are desirable.
• Leadership skills and ability to influence others and lead small teams are desirable.
• Ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact and coordinate multiple projects is desirable.
• Problem identification, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills are desirable.
