Qualifications

  • Monday through Friday, on call rotation and potential weekend work.
  • Nice to Have:- A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire- Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older- A current valid license is required for this role- Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
  • Minimal level of workshop related experience required.
  • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
  • High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience

Responsibilities

  • In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
  • High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
  • Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
  • Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators.
  • Basic Diesel Engine experience.
  • Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality. Education, Licenses, Certifications: Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Minimal level of workshop related experience required. Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience
