Qualifications

  • Participates in the on-call rotation for the territory.
  • A current valid license is required for this role- This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations- This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical- 3 years driving experience- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use- Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age Education, Licenses, Certifications: Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Minimal level of workshop related experience required. Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience

Responsibilities

  • In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
  • High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
  • Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
  • (Entry):
  • Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators.
  • Basic Diesel Engine experience.
  • Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
