Field Service Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic CNC machine faults.
• Maintain and repair CNC lathes, milling machines, and machining centres.
• Troubleshoot CNC controllers, servo and spindle drives, motors, sensors, and control panels.
• Support installation, commissioning, alignment, and operational testing.
• Interpret schematics, drawings, and technical manuals; identify spare parts and coordinate with the service team.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and recommendations.
• Communicate with customers, provide basic machine-care guidance, and follow safety and equipment-handling procedures.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant CNC servicing and maintenance experience.
• A valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
• ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or equivalent CNC controls; working knowledge of PLC diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and travel to UAE customer sites; good spoken and written English.
• UAE/GCC service experience and immediate or short-notice availability are preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 3,000–12,000 per month, with the final amount discussed based on experience and technical skills.

Workplace

• Work is in person and involves visits to customer sites across the UAE.
