Field Service Diesel Technician
Role Overview
Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site.
We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Anchorage, AK).

Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
Maintain own tools
Employees should expect assignments that may require being away from home for several consecutive days or longer, including overnight stays in remote locations.
Flexibility is essential, as weather, transportation, and field conditions may occasionally require changes to planned schedules.

Responsibilities
- In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Completes complex internal engine repairs
- Performs engine overhauls unassisted
- Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
- Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software
Preferred Qualifications
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
