Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Field Officer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Field Officer will oversee day-to-day site activities, including monitoring construction progress, verifying work quality, and ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and safety standards.
The role involves coordinating with contractors, engineers, and vendors, conducting regular site inspections, and reporting issues or delays to project management.
The Field Officer will collect and verify site data, maintain accurate records and reports, and support compliance with local regulations and company policies.
The role also includes assisting with handover processes, resolving on-site queries, and representing 1XL Infra professionally in all field interactions.
Qualifications
- Strong site supervision skills, including daily monitoring of construction activities, quality checks, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Experience in coordination and communication with contractors, engineers, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Proficiency in documentation and reporting, including maintaining site logs, progress reports, and basic project tracking tools.
- Working knowledge of real estate development or construction processes, preferably in residential or commercial projects.
- Ability to interpret basic drawings, site plans, and technical instructions, and escalate issues when needed.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple on-site tasks.
- Comfort with using smartphones, tablets, and common office software for data collection, reporting, and communication.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages in the region is an advantage.
- Relevant field or construction experience in the UAE is highly preferred; familiarity with local regulations is a plus.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
