About the business
M Group Telecom enables and enhances telecom networks and delivers full network cycle services for fixed, private, and mobile operators.
The business provides network operations, asset management, system refresh, repair, and maintenance services.
Work location
- This is a field-based role with the ability to travel UK-wide.
What you will do
- Conduct site surveys and install, configure, commission, and test telecom and transmission equipment.
- Work with Fox MUX, ADVA, alarms, DC systems using Eltek/Eplax, and air cooling.
- Work with LAN, WAN, control telephony, SDH, PDH, and DWDM.
- Install, gland, terminate, and test SWA power cables, Cat 5/Cat 6, Belden, 50-pair copper cabling, patching, and fibre optic looms.
- Perform fault finding.
What you will bring
- Consistent five-year UK employment history.
- Security Cleared status or eligibility to obtain SC clearance.
- UK driving licence and flexibility to travel UK-wide.
- Experience carrying out telecom surveys and fault finding.
- Proven experience installing, configuring, commissioning, and testing telecom and transmission equipment.
