Field Engineer III - Structural Engineer

The Role

Responsibilities

• Review 'Issued for Construction' drawings and request clarifications as per project site procedure.
• Collaborate with the Planning Engineer/Team to develop the construction schedule for the discipline.
• Understand contractor contract agreement requirements for the discipline.
• Assist in review/approval of contractor Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans.
• Collaborate with contractors on detailed construction schedules and review resource status.
• Review JHAs, method statements, and lifting plans where applicable.
• Supervise for safety and inspect contractor activities for compliance with Field HSE Specification.
• Carry out stage-wise inspection of contractor works and maintain documentation.
• Participate in site walk rounds and quality audits.
• Monitor work progress against the approved schedule and highlight deficiencies to contractors.
• Participate in review meetings with contractors.
• Review and certify interim and final measurement records submitted by contractors.

About You

• Knowledge of quality control, safe ways of working, resource requirements, sequence of activities, and supervision of construction activities.
• Awareness of applicable standards such as Indian Standards and ASME.
• Minimum 7 years of experience for Graduate Engineers or 10 years for Diploma Engineers.
• Experience working in the Oil & Gas sector and Chemicals.
• Graduate or Diploma in Engineering in the respective discipline.
• Knowledge of safe methods of execution of construction activities.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Team player with interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable and open towards learning and development, with integrity.
