Location: Assembly plant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Full-time, 1-year fixed-term contract, renewable upon annual performance review
Reporting Line: HQTS Project Manager & designated supervisor of local electronic assembly factory
Priority Candidates: Saudi local talents OR candidates who can independently handle full Saudi work visa formalities (Iqama, sponsorship, renewal)
Project Background
Our client is an electronic manufacturing assembly plant in Riyadh, producing servers, desktops, laptops and mobile terminals.
Structural parts, chassis, PCBA and other core components are supplied by vendors from China mainland, Taiwan and Southeast Asia.
We provide third-party on-site quality technical support to resolve incoming structural component defects, control quality risks and guarantee smooth production.
This resident FAE role serves as exclusive on-site quality representative for component suppliers.
Core Job Responsibilities
Defect judgment & root cause analysis
Carry out on-site identification and preliminary root cause analysis for all mechanical/structural defects of incoming parts found on assembly lines; quickly link field failures to potential manufacturing issues of upstream component factories.
Cross-party coordination & problem verification
Coordinate HQTS service team and overseas component suppliers to trace the real root cause of quality abnormalities; independently communicate, verify and negotiate quality issues with the assembly plant’s engineering and quality teams to confirm factual defect reasons.
Sorting & rework scheme management
Negotiate, formulate and confirm batch sorting and rework execution plans with the local assembly factory when mass quality non-conformities occur.
On-site supervision of rectification activities
Supervise the progress and execution quality of on-site sorting, inspection and rework teams; provide technical guidance to temporary supervisors without manual sorting work.
Dual-way regular quality reporting
Compile periodic quality status, work progress and final rectification results reports; submit reports to both the local assembly plant and multiple overseas component suppliers simultaneously.
Follow up abnormal material tracking
Track risk defective materials throughout the whole process, complete quality abnormality filing, and push suppliers to implement CAPA to prevent recurring structural defects.
1. Academic & Working Background
- Hold mechanical structure-related major education background; minimum 3 years formal working experience in manufacturing factories. Candidates with extensive structural component manufacturing experience may waive the 3-year requirement appropriately.
- 1.
- Professional Process Knowledge Proficient in mainstream structural manufacturing processes: injection molding, die-casting, stamping, assembly tolerance control, screw torque testing and structural interference analysis.
- 2.
- Quality capability Strong quality awareness and process sensitivity; master root cause analysis tools (8D, 5Why, Fishbone Diagram etc.) to systematically resolve structural quality issues.
- 3.
- Communication & negotiation ability Excellent on-site communication, coordination and negotiation skills; capable of independent technical argument with customer engineering & quality departments.
- 4.
- Visa Requirement (Key Priority) Saudi local talents are highly preferred.
- For foreign applicants, you must be able to independently complete all Saudi work visa procedures including sponsorship application, Iqama issuance, visa renewal and related compliance formalities without sponsorship support from HQTS.
- Candidates who cannot self-manage work visa matters will not be considered for this position.
- 5.
- Job Boundary Only responsible for mechanical & structural quality issues of components; electronic circuit, software and firmware failures are outside the scope of this role.
Additional Project Supplementary Rules
1.
Temporary sorting & rework support When batch component abnormalities trigger urgent sorting/rework demands, coordinate the deployment of 5–9 temporary operators with a dedicated supervisor, ensure all manpower is in place within 24–48 hours after receiving service notice.
2.
Quality system & data management Complete full inspection records, non-conformance tracking forms, KPI statistics and regular quality dashboards for daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
3.
Onboarding Timeline Successful candidate must complete on-site stationing before July 1, 2025.
Benefits & Settlement
