Overview

Responsibilities

• Market Monitoring: Collecting and systematizing data on the production, consumption, export, and import of fertilizers in key regions of the world
• Price Analysis: Tracking quotes for raw materials (natural gas, sulfur, phosphates) and finished products, identifying trends and causes of volatility
• Forecasting: Preparing short- and long-term supply and demand forecasts. Developing market scenarios for management
• Competitive Intelligence: Monitoring the activities of key industry players and analyzing their investment programs and production capacities
• Reporting: Creating regular analytical notes, presentations (dashboards), and reports for internal stakeholders
• Data Handling: Working with large datasets, building econometric models, and visualizing data for decision-making

Requirements

• Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an analyst in agriculture, the chemical industry, or commodity markets
• Education: Degree in Economics, Finance, Agronomy, or Mathematical Methods in Economics
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the fertilizer industry (logistics specificities, seasonality, dependence on energy prices)
• Analytical Skills:
• Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel at an expert level, SQL, BI systems like Tableau or Power BI)
• Skills in building mathematical models and forecasting
• Languages: Fluency in English and Russian
