Personal Trainer Duties
- Evaluate clients' physical conditions, medical histories, and fitness levels to establish realistic, attainable goals.
- Create personalized workout regimens focusing on muscular endurance, strength training, cardiovascular health, and flexibility.
- Guide clients through exercises, closely monitoring form and posture to prevent injuries, and teach proper usage of gym equipment.
- Regularly measure and document client statistics (weight, body composition, strength milestones) and adjust programs as needed.
- Provide continuous encouragement, behavioral coaching, and basic education on healthy lifestyle choices and nutrition.
- Ensure that training areas and equipment remain clean, safe, and orderly.
Pilates Instructor Duties
- Lead dynamic group classes or one-on-one private sessions from beginner to advanced levels using reformers, mats, and small props.
- Modify exercises dynamically to accommodate individual injuries, physical limitations, or varying skill levels within a mixed-ability class.
- Closely observe clients to provide verbal and hands-on corrections for breathing patterns and precise muscle recruitment.
- Collaborate with physical therapists or wellness teams when working with clients recovering from injuries or addressing orthopedic concerns.
- Prepare the studio space, safely manage specialized Pilates equipment, and maintain accurate attendance and client tracking records.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification (e.g., REPS, Les Mills or any related group exercise certification).
- Current CPR and AED certifications.
- High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in exercise science, sports or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong motivational mindset, time management, and foundational knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Compensation
- Pay: From AED 3,500.00 per month.
Work Location
- Work Location: In person.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Ajman is preferred.
