About This Role
Overview
- An Engineering Consultancy is looking for an experienced Accountant to handle our financial operations.**Requirements:**
- 2+ years of UAE-based accounting and clerical experience.
- Must be on a **Husband/Family Visa**.
- Expertise in **QuickBooks** and **MS Excel**.
- Solid knowledge of **VAT/FTA regulations** and UAE Labor Law.
Core Tasks
- **Full-cycle accounting** including GL, AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Manage and maintain accurate records in **QuickBooks**
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual **financial statements and reports**
- Handle **VAT computation, filing, and compliance** with FTA regulations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities
- Create and monitor company budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Support management in strategic planning through financial analysis
- Prepare project-specific financial summaries and cost allocations
- Ensure accurate recording of intercompany and contractor transactions
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
