Owns federal data that supports Pryzm's platform and customer needs, from routine quality work to customer-facing insights.
About Pryzm
Pryzm provides a platform for federal market intelligence, budget data, program visibility, and related insights.
The company serves organizations in the national security and federal technology ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Own and improve areas of federal data, identify meaningful changes, and make structural improvements within the platform.
- Handle customer data pulls end to end, from scoping requests to delivering clean, accurate outputs.
- Design and build data feeds and trackers for customer use cases and workflows.
- Mine platform data for patterns and signals and produce thought leadership for customers and outbound marketing.
- Run QA checks on personnel, organizational, and program data to identify errors, gaps, and stale information.
- Help shape data coverage, structure, and quality priorities with the data team.
- Partner with product and engineering to turn data gaps and customer feedback into architecture and UI improvements.
What we're looking for
- 0–3 years of experience in hands-on data work combined with analysis or research, or a relevant college degree plus internship experience.
- Can write basic SQL, work with large or messy datasets, and identify structural data problems.
- Strong analytical writing to turn datasets into clear, credible narratives for executive audiences.
- High attention to detail and a self-driven mindset; comfortable working through ambiguity and switching among different workstreams.
- Familiarity with government contracting or federal personnel data is a strong plus, not a requirement.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be US Persons.
- Must be located in Boston; position is fully onsite.
Compensation and benefits
- Compensation range is $75,000–$90,000; no pay cadence is specified.
- Full-time employee benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and equity.
